Jon Weyher
Athletic Director
Mr. Weyher, Athletic Director and Assistant Principal, brings twenty-nine years of experience in education and coaching to the Lions’ program.
He is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a degree in education and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
Since his 2001 arrival in Gwinnett County, Jon has held a variety of leadership positions at Dacula and Osborne Middle schools in addition to his years at Peachtree Ridge. Mr. Weyher’s coaching includes basketball, football, track, and volleyball. Jon’s coaching background, his love of all sports, and his proven leadership skills will keep Peachtree Ridge athletics among the state’s elite for years to come!
Heather Peterman
Athletic Trainer
Heather earned her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from
Lees-McRae College in 2014 where she also ran cross country and track.
Heather is a member of National Athletic Trainer’s Association and an
ImPact trained athletic trainer. As an experienced athlete herself, Heather
is passionate about caring for the students and faculty of Peachtree Ridge
High School.
